Personal tax returns, prepared with care

Accurate T1 returns for employees, families, seniors, students, newcomers and the self-employed in Brampton and across the GTA — with every credit and deduction you are entitled to considered.

What we take care of

Your personal return affects more than the refund or balance owing. It drives your child and family benefits, GST/HST credit, Ontario Trillium Benefit and RRSP room. We prepare it carefully, explain the result and tell you what to do differently next year.

  • T1 returns for individuals, couples and families, including prior-year and late returns
  • Self-employment, commission and rideshare income (T2125), including vehicle and home-office expenses
  • Rental income, capital gains and the principal residence designation
  • RRSP, FHSA, TFSA and pension-income-splitting decisions
  • Newcomers’ first returns, part-year residency and foreign income and property reporting (T1135)
  • Returns for seniors, students and deceased individuals (final returns)

CRA letters, reviews and reassessments

If CRA asks for receipts, proposes changes or reassesses a return, we review the request, gather the right documents and respond on your behalf with your authorization. Where we disagree with a reassessment, we can help you file a notice of objection within the deadline.

How it works

Book a free 15-minute call, send your slips and receipts electronically or in person, and we prepare your return, review it with you and file it electronically. You receive a copy of your return and a short summary of the result.

Questions

Personal Tax: common questions

When is my personal tax return due?

For most individuals, the return and any balance owing are due April 30. If you or your spouse or common-law partner are self-employed, the filing deadline is June 15, but any balance owing is still due April 30.

Can you file returns for previous years?

Yes. We can prepare and file late or prior-year returns and, where appropriate, discuss CRA’s Voluntary Disclosures Program with you.

I am new to Canada. Do I need to file?

Generally yes, if you became a resident during the year — and filing is often needed to receive benefits such as the GST/HST credit and Canada child benefit. We will explain how your residency start date and world income are treated.

Can you deal with CRA for me?

Yes. With your authorization through CRA’s representative process, we can speak with CRA, respond to review letters and handle correspondence on your behalf.
